Insurance Information Services was formed in 1995 to assist insurance companies in acquiring information needed for effective insurance underwriting and claim investigations. Over the years IIS has voyaged into corporate defense and more. Our goal remains the same, to assist our clients in resolving their risk management issues through our collective efforts and teamwork.
First InfoSource was designed in 2001, as a division of Insurance Information Services to offer unique, flexible access to Missouri DMV (drivers Licenses and vehicle records), which at that time did not exist.
We house a copy of the entire Missouri DMV files in our database, update those records daily, and then make it multi-field searchable, to provide the user instantaneous access to the data, via our secured and encrypted website.
Our system provides full record data, including personal information, so every client is required to be qualified and adhere to guidelines put forth by the Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA), and the Graham Leach Bliley Privacy Act (GLB).
Driver's License: Our license system accesses over 6.5 Million records of every MO Driver's license, Non-Driver's license (State ID), and Master Add records (Non-MO DL holders ticketed in MO). We decode all relevant data in plain language, to include updated addresses, name changes, and even DWI blood alcohol content (BAC), which is not done by any of our competitors.
Vehicle Registrations: Our vehicle system accesses over 14 Million records of every current & historical vehicle title and registration in the state, to include motorcycles, ATV's, trailers etc.
In addition we have enhanced the system by adding partial record data from lienholders, and dealer sale records, for those individuals who have not yet registered their vehicles because of sales tax fees, are driving on temp tags or bogus plates. No other resellers have access to this information.
The flexibility of our design means that you can search not only traditional fields like plate, VIN, DL#, but can search an address for all driver & non-driver licenses (State ID), or vehicle registrations.
Boat Registrations: Our boat system has every registration of boat and boat motor in the state, again with flexible search fields.
Auto Dealers: The current dealer file has every licensed motor vehicle dealer in the state to include owner name, address, phone, insurance, and number of dealer tags. So when you see a dealer number listed on vehicle registration you can immediately identify that dealer.
Missouri License Monitor is a product line of FIS that was unveiled in 2013 and offers batching and pro-active monitoring of our clients specific grouping of drivers, and eliminates the sometimes tedious data entry & review on large groups.
Some of our transportation clients have a large fleet of drivers to manage per state guidelines, and so they commissioned us to provide them a more efficient way to access & review their specific data, while not compromising safety or regulatory obligations, or straining their personnel.
Our solution was two-fold, depending on their desired level of security, and, more amazingly we were able to streamline & improve the process for their staff, increase frequency and features, and keep the cost the same or cheaper for the client.
Batching: Clients upload all of their existing drivers information (DL#) via an excel spreadsheet with no quantity limitation, and the system instantaneously runs those driving records, and provides the records back to the user in a PDF file, customizable to single or combined file format.
The system simultaneously reads every record and parses relevant data to the intuitive dashboard, which allows for easy flagging of problem drivers, or license changes to include citations, actions, expirations, or license status, and more. What once took hours of data entry & review of hundreds of driving records is now completed in a flash with the dashboard report, which facilitates easy sorting and review of only the problem records with issues.
Monitoring: Is very similar to batching in the data ingestion process, but then we house the driver's data on our servers and monitor those records for changes. We adhere to a client customizable set of search intervals and data protocols, then flag any relevant derogatory license changes to the client.
Having a robust business intelligence lifecycle in place sets a solid foundation for our predictive analytics and can pre-alert your business to preventative outcomes.
The Missouri License Monitor may have been designed and built for our transportation clients, but we believe that it will revolutionize the Insurance Underwriting markets in MO.
