Frequently asked questions

How do I submit an assignment?

Existing clients use the online assignment form. You receive a reference number immediately, a confirmation email, and the file is worked in order received. New clients are qualified first - call 520-954-6300.

How fast is a skip-trace?

The standard skip-trace runs 5 to 7 days and is over 99% effective. It is investigator-worked, not a database echo.

What does an assignment cost?

Flat rates are published on the pricing page: skip-trace $125, basic asset check $125, DMV searches $15, non-pub phone $50. Larger work runs time-and-expense at $85/hour, scoped with you first.

Do you offer no-find, no-fee?

Yes - on locate services and the national bank account search (judgment required).

What information should I include with an assignment?

As much as you have: subject name, last known address, date of birth, SSN or driver's license number if available, phones, relatives, and your file number. Every subject field is optional - we regularly locate on a name alone - but more detail shortens turnaround.

Who can order records?

Access to personal information in motor-vehicle and similar records is restricted by the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). Every client is qualified before access and their permissible use is kept on record.

Do you cover Missouri driving records?

Yes - we are the source, not a reseller. Single Missouri MVRs are delivered online in minutes at MissouriMVR.com; fleet batching and monitoring runs at batching.missourimvr.com. Both are built on our own daily-updated copy of the Missouri DMV file.

How do I get results and the invoice?

The report and invoice are emailed to the address on the assignment. Checks payable to I.I.S.; terms are due on receipt.
