Insurance Information Services handles personal information as its business - which is exactly why this page exists. This describes what this website collects and how assignment data is treated.

The assignment form

The assignment form collects information about you (the requestor) and about the subject of the investigation - which may include name, date of birth, Social Security number, driver's license number, addresses and phone numbers. This information is submitted voluntarily by qualified clients for a permissible investigative purpose, stored in our case management database, and used solely to perform the requested work. It is transmitted over HTTPS and is not sold or shared outside the engagement.

Regulated records

Access to motor-vehicle and similar records containing personal information is governed by the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (18 U.S.C. §2721) and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Clients are qualified before access, and each client's permissible purposes are kept on record.

This website

This site sets a cookie only in the administrative area (a sign-in session for our staff) and, on the assignment form, a short-lived anti-spam token. There is no advertising, no analytics trackers, and no third-party scripts.
